Waimea Valley

On the North Shore, across the road from Waimea Bay- Waimea Valley is 1,875 acres of privately owned property, and a non – profit organization. Come experience Waimea Valley and take a casual walk through a sacred ahupua'a (Hawaiian Land Division that extends from the mountains to the sea) and our World Class Botanical Gardens, past historical sites up to our Waterfall area. Waimea Valley is a rich and culturally significant wahi pana (storied place). Historically, the Valley has been home to and ruled by a long line of Ali'i Nui (kings), Ali'i (Chief), and Kahuna Hui (High Priests). Our gift store, Ku'ono Waiwai offers a large variety of 'one of a kind gifts' and specializes in Local Artisans. Na Mea 'Ono, our snack bar specializes in locally grown and produced meat, fruits, vegetables, soft drinks and desserts.
